The main focus of the meeting was place-based education and the development of entrepreneurial skills among adult learners.
The Italian delegation, composed of Cristina Galli (project coordinator), Sara Munno, and Angela Viero, participated in all scheduled activities and workshops.
During the meeting, partners shared best practices and discussed innovative approaches to integrating local culture, heritage, and economy into adult education. Special attention was given to how educational programs can foster entrepreneurship and community engagement by drawing inspiration from the surrounding environment.
The program included several study visits designed to connect theoretical discussions with real-life contexts:
A guided visit to the Fehmarn Belt construction site, an impressive example of European cooperation and large-scale infrastructure that highlights the importance of innovation, sustainability, and cross-border collaboration.
A visit to Maribo Cathedral, where participants explored the historical and cultural significance of the site and discussed how local heritage can be integrated into adult learning initiatives.
A tour of the Fuglsang Art Museum, offering insights into the role of art and culture in fostering creativity and critical thinking within community-based education.
Throughout the meeting, participants engaged in collaborative sessions, exchanged experiences, and planned future steps for the project’s implementation. The event provided valuable opportunities for professional growth, intercultural exchange, and partnership strengthening among all involved institutions.
